Accomodations for the 2010 CEM Feast
CEM has made arrangements for a special cancellation agreement and discounts at the following housing agencies in Ft. Walton and Destin for the 2010 Feast of Tabernacles. If you make housing arrangements with someone other than the ones listed below, BE SURE to ask them about their cancellation policy. The general agreement is listed below. The housing agencies who have agreed to change their rental policies are:

The ID code for reservations is Christian Education Ministries or CEM, please contact us at 800-225-7652. Newman-Dailey Resort Properties, Inc is offering a 30% discount on our Fall rates for 2010 to guest from Christian Educational Ministries.
1. Rental Payment is due in full, in advance or on the day of check-in. Payment may be made in cash, traveler’s check, bank money order, cashier’s check, Visa/Mastercard/American Express, or personal Check with proper identification. Visa/Mastercard/American Express will not be accepted for monthly stays. If a crib, high chair, or roll-away bed has been ordered, a payment will be collected at check-in.
2. Advanced Rent Payment is 15% of the total cost of the reservation. and must be received within ten (10) days of the initial reservation.. If the advanced rent is not received within ten (10) days of booking, your reservation will be cancelled. Reservations made within thirty (30) days of arrival require a payment upon booking. If you do not cancel your reservation, or simply do not show up for your stay, the advance rent payment will be forfeited to the unit owner.
3. Cancellation of Reservations must be made fourteen (14) days prior to check-in for a daily or weekly booking; sixty (60) days prior to a monthly booking; and three (3) days prior to any booking made within fourteen (14) days of arrival. A $75 processing fee will be charged on all cancellation reservations. Late cancellations will result in forfeiture of the advance rent payment.
4. Hurricane Policy: If there is a named hurricane that threatens the area of Destin, FL you will be refunded for the nights not stayed. In addition, we have amended our hurricane policy to include any sustained hurricane damage to the Emerald Coast Conference Center located in Fort Walton Beach, FL as it pertains to the CEM reservation dates scheduled for the Fall conference of 2009

Resort Quest has a variety of housing units located on the beach on Okaloosa Island near the conference center and also in Destin. Their Okaloosa Island office is located at 676 Santa Rosa Blvd, in Ft. Walton. Some units have onsite check-in.
ResortQuest will offer a 20% discount at Waterscape, Waters Edge, Island Echos, The Islander, Gulf Dunes, Summer Place, Island Princess, Sundestin, Jade East, and Pelican Beach Resort. They will offer a 15% discount at Azure. Only a limited number of houses will have discounts, be sure to ask. You must call their reservations department at (800)380-4808 to make reservations. Rates are subject to sales tax, a 5% service fee and a varying one time cleaning fee, be sure to ask.
You should identify yourself as part of the CEM Group, Source Code S3037 to receive this discount. All of their properties are listed online or are available by calling them and asking for their brochure.

Southern Resorts manages a large number of condos and homes on the beach. They are offering a 15% discount off their FALL rates for all properties, with a few minor exceptions, so please ask. You can view their rental units by going online…but you must call in to receive the CEM special discount. Be sure to mention CEM when you call. Their main office is in Destin but they have a check-in at 656-C Santa Rosa Blvd. on Okaloosa Island. Southern Resorts requires a 25% deposit payment.
Cancellations: Guests who cancel 30 days prior to arrival will receive a refund of their advance payment. Guests who cancel inside 30 days of arrival will forfeit their advance payment. If our area or the area where the guest resides is under a mandatory evacuation due to a hurricane guest will receive a refund of their advance payment. If Emerald Coast Conference Center is unable to be occupied, guest may cancel with no penalty.

The Emerald Coast Inn & Suites is located right next door to the Emerald Coast Conference Center and there is a walkway to the ECCC. They have just completed a multi-million dollar remodel and all rooms have been modernized and updated. All rooms have either a king or 2 queen beds, refrigerator, microwave, TV, and high speed internet access. 1. DEPOSIT AND PAYMENT PROCEDURES: $250 deposit due at the time of booking per reservation. Remanding balance due at check in.
2. CANCELLATION AND PERFORMANCE: Standard cancellation policies apply. 30days outside of arrival, guest will loose $100 of deposit. Inside 30 days of arrival, guest loose full $250 deposit.. The guest can call back to reschedule at another time, restrictions may apply.
Hurricane/Tropical Storms:
Deposits and/or rent paid will be refunded only if the accommodations or the primary residence of the guest if NOAA the National Hurricane Center issues a Hurricane WARNING. Cancellations or early departures due to any other inclement weather will not warrant any refund of rent or deposits made and all standard policy procedures above will apply. If an act of God should occur, to the Emerald Grande or Emerald Coast Conference Center, the group will not be responsible for reservations at the Emerald Grande.
This is the general agreement we have made with the above rental agencies. Some of the agencies have made some changes, but have agreed in with all the major points. Be sure to review all terms and conditions of each rental agency.
1. CHECK-IN IS AFTER 3:00 P.M. AND CHECK-OUT TIME IS 10:00 A.M
2. PETS ARE GENERALLY NOT PERMITTED IN RENTAL UNITS.
3. WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO CHANGE UNIT ASSIGNMENTS. WHEN YOU CONFIRM A RESERVATION, A UNIT WILL BE ASSIGNED; HOWEVER NO UNIT REQUEST IS GUARANTEED.
4. The maximum number of guests per unit is limited at most properties to four (4) persons in a one bedroom, six (6) persons in a two bedroom, and eight (8) persons in a three bedroom, please ask for exceptions.
5. Rates include a one time linen/towel set-up and cleaning service at the time of departure. Amenity fees are included in the rental rate at some locations.
6. Daily maid service is not included in the rental rate at most locations. We suggest you bring beach towels. We do not permit towels or linens to be taken from the units except to launder. An exchange for additional clean linen is available at check-in location for a nominal fee.
7. RESERVATIONS MUST BE RECEIVED PRIOR TO THE RESERVATION CUT-OFF DATE INDICATED. After this date, any remaining rooms not reserved will be released back into our available inventory. We will continue to accept reservations from your organization after the cut-off date on a space available basis.
8. ADVANCE PAYMENT - A MINIMUM advance payment of 15% or $100.00 per unit is required within ten (10) days of booking a reservation. The advance payment will be applied toward the room rent. The advance payment is not a damage deposit. A damage deposit may be required at some locations. A Visa, MasterCard, American Express Card, or Discover Card may be accepted for deposit and/or advance payment.
9. FULL PAYMENT IS DUE PRIOR TO OR UPON ARRIVAL. Please make payment in the form of traveler’s checks, bank money orders, cashier's checks, cash, personal check, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or Discover. Personal checks may be accepted with proper identification. Credit cards will not be accepted for monthly reservations.
10. Each individual is responsible for their own reservations and payment. CEM will not make group reservations.
11. Any reservation obtained under false pretense will be subject to forfeiture of advance payment, deposit, and/or rental money and the party will not be permitted to check-in.
12. Any exceptions to above mentioned policies must be approved in writing in advance by management, and presented at check-in.
13. We serve as the agent and representative of all owners of condominium units, townhomes, and houses on its rental program, and is acting at all times, in and for the best interest of the owners.
