THIS BOOK IS INTENDED TO BE USED DURING THE 50 DAYS BETWEEN PASSOVER AND PENTECOST AS A WAY TO LEARN HOW TO EVANGELIZE WHICH RESULTS IN BAPTISMS.

Pentecost and the birth of the New Testament church marked an explosion of evangelism like the world has never seen. In the years that followed, two evangelists were called “men who had turned the world upside down.” The seven weeks between Passover and Pentecost are the weeks of the grain harvest in Palestine, and that harvest was Jesus’ chosen illustration of the task that lies before each of us.

The harvest is a harvest of people for the Kingdom, and when He said to pray to the Lord of the harvest that He would send more workers into the harvest, it is clear that He intended Christians to actively evangelize their family, friends, and the world.

The theme for 50 Days of Evangelism is evangelism. Our goal is to baptize those we evangelize during the 50 days between Passover and Pentecost. Pentecost is a harvest festival and we “should plow in hope” (1 Corinthians 9:10).
